You may be ready to relate to yourself in a different way
At different points in life, you may find yourself wanting space to sort through your thoughts, emotions, or experiences more openly. This can be especially true when things feel overwhelming, uncertain, or difficult to carry on your own. Even when you are managing the responsibilities of daily life, there may still be aspects of your internal experience that feel unresolved, unclear, or in need of attention.
Therapy offers a consistent and supportive place where you can explore these experiences at your own pace. As this process unfolds, it can foster greater emotional clarity, a stronger sense of internal steadiness, and a deeper connection with yourself. Over time, this can influence how you relate to your experiences and navigate your life.
Therapy offers more than reflection alone
Many people spend time reflecting on their experiences and trying to understand themselves more fully. While this self-awareness can be valuable, meaningful shifts often require more than insight alone.
Therapy provides the opportunity to explore patterns as they arise, with support that helps you remain present and engaged in the process. This not only deepens awareness, but also strengthens emotional resilience and supports the development of new ways of responding to yourself and your experiences. Over time, this can help you feel more grounded and better equipped to navigate challenges.
Therapy adapts to your individual needs
There is no single path that therapy must follow. Your experiences, goals, and challenges are unique, and therapy evolves in response to what feels most relevant and important over time.
Some periods of therapy may focus on gaining perspective around patterns or navigating current stressors. At other times, the work may involve processing experiences more fully, strengthening emotional resilience, or supporting you through transitions. This flexibility allows therapy to remain responsive as your needs and circumstances change.
My approach to therapy
My approach to therapy is grounded in working at a depth that supports lasting internal shifts rather than only addressing concerns at the surface. This involves paying attention to the patterns, emotional responses, and internal dynamics that shape how you experience yourself and your life.
This depth-oriented approach allows therapy to move beyond short-term symptom relief and toward changes that feel more integrated and internally coherent over time. You can learn more about the specific approaches I use by visiting my Internal Family Systems therapy and Somatic IFS therapy pages, or learn more about my background and experience on my About page.
What getting started looks like
The first step is scheduling a free 20 minute consultation, which provides an opportunity for us to briefly connect and discuss what you are looking for. This allows us to determine whether working together feels like a good fit and gives you the opportunity to ask any initial questions.
If you decide to move forward, our initial sessions focus on gaining a comprehensive understanding of your experiences, history, and current concerns, including completing an intake assessment. This helps establish a clear foundation for therapy and ensures that our work is aligned with your needs and priorities.
From there, therapy typically continues through regular sessions, where we work together at a pace that feels supportive and manageable. This ongoing process provides consistent support as you address challenges and develop greater emotional stability over time.
